I am Ibrahim Hamdy Younos, an assistant professor of pharmacology and clinical pharmacy with about 15 years’ experience in teaching medical pharmacology for medical and nursing students together with pursuing biomedical research. My teaching experience includes tutoring and coordinating courses for undergraduate and postgraduate medical and nursing students. Besides teaching medical pharmacology using innovative educational practices, my expertise is extended to biomedical research, with an interest in immunopharmacology and cancer immunotherapy using molecular and cellular phenotypic and functional immunological tools. I mastered scientific writing, presentations, as well as computer and communication skills. My focus is in the monitoring and characterization of T cell responses in patients with cancer, and the establishment of in vitro models to facilitate the understanding of how immune modulation via abrogating and activating antibodies amplifies adaptive immunity in patients. Also, I am interested in exploring the effect of new anticancer agents in different tumor models. I dealt successfully with students and colleagues with different cultures and backgrounds during my study, teaching career and research activities. I have given presentations at international and local scientific conferences.
